How do I benefit from waxing?
Waxing removes the hair by extracting the root, in doing so the hair grows back softer, finer, and thinner. When you remove the hair follicle from the root it leaves the skin looking brighter and more youthful! Rest assured that waxing becomes less painful overtime.
Will waxing make my hair grow back thicker/stronger/darker?
NO WAY! The more you wax, the less hair grows back. Regular routine waxing breaks down the hair follicle. This promotes the hair to grow back finer, weaker and less pigmented.
How long, or short, should my hair be for waxing?
You will want your hair growth to measure about the length of a grain of rice.
Why is hair length important to my results?
Hair length is important to your result because it allows our wax specialists to remove the hair from the root, without running the risk of breaking the hair underneath the skins surface. Generally most guests will reach the desired length within 1-2 weeks.
How often should I get my waxing treatment?
A typical hair growth cycle is 4 weeks. However, with more frequent appointments in the beginning of your waxing routine your hair growth cycle will become slower, allowing you to maintain your results longer over time.
What kind of wax do you use?
We offer two types of wax. Our most popular wax is a strip removal wax. This wax is ideal for all hair types. Our strip wax is free of fragrance and beeswax. It applies soft to the skin, never dries and uses an encapsulation technology that grabs the hair follicle and forces removal from the root. This allows for greater results, overall, especially if the hair in some places is not at full cycle length.
We also offer hard wax. This is a beeswax base with light fragrance. This wax is applied wet to the skin, and dries upon removal. Hard wax is a pliable texture and best for a coarse textured hair.
Our Wax Specialist’s will always recommend the best product for your skin and hair type.
What should I expect after my first waxing treatment?
After your first wax, the majority of your skin should be smooth to the touch! Keep in mind that a typical hair cycle is 4 weeks, meaning if you do not have 4 weeks of untouched growth your hair is likely to be on different growth cycles. If this is the case it is not uncommon to see or feel new hair growth within a week or so until all your hair growth is on one cycle. For new waxers, this will typically take 1-3 visits.
Will I get ingrown hairs?
It is possible. Waxing not only removes the hair follicle from the root, but it’s also a great exfoliator for the top layer of your skin. The body’s natural defense mechanism is to remove blockage from the pore naturally, which may appear as a rough or bumpy texture on the surface of the skin. This is very common, especially to areas of the body that are not used to direct exfoliation. This just means you will need to gently exfoliate the clogged area with a gentle washcloth and fragrance free wash. Always allow your skin to dry before clothing 24-48hrs after your wax!
How can I save money on a regular wax routine?

What's a Brazilian wax?
A Brazilian wax is full front and back removal! It stretches from the pubic area to the crack, and everything in between. If you’ve never had one, it might seem exotic, but it’s actually one of our most popular waxes!
