If it’s your first time, it’s best to come in around 10 days before the wedding in case any irritation occurs, and then possibly come back for a touch-up a week later.
Which waxing services should you consider?
I think a Leg Wax is a must for every bride. Wearing a strapless dress? Get an Underarm Wax too! And for the honeymoon (or even just the “honeymoon phase”), you can’t go wrong with a Bikini Wax or Brazilian.

Should you trim ahead of time?
No! No, no, nooooo. No trimming. Ideally, hair should be at least the length of a grain of rice to get the best results and reduce the risk of irritation and ingrown hairs. Even longer is just fine too!

PRE-WAX
- Make sure hair is a quarter of an inch or longer
- Exfoliate and moisturize regularly in the week leading up to your appointment
POST-WAX
- Wear loose-fitting clothing
- No working out, sex, sun or spray tans for 48 hours
